Coi Leray drops new EP "Blue Moon"

Coi Leray may not be a household name in the realm of female rap just yet, but if there's one thing she's proven, it's her unwavering consistency. The artist has delighted her fans with a brand-new EP titled "Blue Moon," arriving only two months after the release of her second studio album, "Coi." It's worth noting that her debut album, "Trendsetter," hit the scene just a year prior.

"Blue Moon" marks her third project in slightly over a year, and throughout this period, Coi has been impressively steady in releasing singles, including her hit track "Players."

The EP comprises five fresh songs: "Liquor and Weed," "Wicked Butterflies," "Isabel Marant," "Still Dreaming," and "3, 2, 1 (Trust)."

In a candid Instagram post, Coi Leray shared her perspective on "Blue Moon," describing it as a "deep" and "vulnerable" project.

She explained, "This EP I get deep, I get vulnerable. I got tired of 'trying' new things and wanted to just do what I do BEST. I have a hard time with telling my story because I get wrapped up in the media narratives, however music is the best way for me to tell it… it’s my life, my story, so why not let me tell it?"

By consistently dropping music and keeping her fans entertained, Coi is proving that she has the work ethic and drive to make it in the female rap industry.
