Rapper Ice Spice is setting the record straight about her signature red curls, saying its her real hair and not a wig.

The "Munch" rapper seemingly responded to YouTube personality Armon Wiggins who referred to her hair as a wig.

"My fro is not a wig," she posted.

In a second post she added: "It's always an old bald man tryna say my hair not real."

Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, previously admitted to wearing wigs frequently when she first started music.

However she said she first displayed her natural hair in 2021.

While her fro may be real, the color however appears to be the product of hair dye.

Her high school yearbook photo indicates that she has natural black hair.

The rapper has sported a number of hairstyles since gaining popularity, frequently switching from straight locks to her signature curly bob. Her hair is almost always some shade of red.
